Abby Williams earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” after helping the Highland volleyball team going 2-0 last week picking up KJCCC wins over Hesston and Cowley.

Williams helped the Scotties top Hesston in three sets at home and posted a match high 11 kills in the contest with a .611 hitting percentage, while adding a dig and block in the win. She followed that up with a 13 kill performance with five digs and two blocks against Cowley in a come from behind win for Highland in five sets.

Her two double figure kill performances make it 12 matches with double figure kills this season for the sophomore. Williams has recorded 278 kills with a .243 hitting percentage and has added53 digs, 40 blocks and four assists.
