Building the Tradition

Highland Community College athletics have a proud tradition of providing opportunities to grow and develop on and off the field.  We are dedicated to enhancing the overall experience for student-athletes and fans by continuously improving facilities.

It is in this spirit that we are embarking on two transformational projects to resurface the track and install synthetic turf on the football field.  The new track surface allows the Highland community track teams, both the college and the high school, to host home track meets.  New turf will enable all our sports teams, and local teams, to utilize the field more often and in all weather.

These two much needed and major renovation projects will greatly enhance athletics making programs more recruitable and motivational by making the complex more usable and beautiful. The track will cost $250,000 and the turf will cost $750,000.  There are naming opportunities available and we are asking everyone to help make this come to fruition with a gift or pledge over multiple years. For more information, please contact Keith Jaloma at kjaloma@highlandcc.edu.

Thank you very much for your consideration,
