Highland sophomore Marquis Terry earns his second HCC ‘Athlete of the Week’ award this year after a huge performance in Saturday’s 24-15 win over Iowa Western.
 
The 5’9 180lb. sophomore from Atlanta, GA rushed the ball 34 times for 167 yards and three touchdowns in Highland’s 24-15 victory over Iowa Western. As head coach Aaron Arnold put it, Terry “Put the team on his back Saturday afternoon.” This was Highland's first ever victory over the Reivers.
 
Terry has rushed for over 100 yards in four games this season and leads the KJCCC in rushing touchdowns with 12. He is 2^nd in yards per game with 103.6. Terry also is 5^th in the NJCAA in rushing touchdowns.
 
On Tuesday, Terry was named the KJCCC ‘Offensive Player of the Week;’ his third time to receive the honor this season.
 
Terry has led the Scotties to a 5-3 record this season with three games remaining. They travel to Fort Scott on Saturday to take on the Greyhounds at 7:00pm.
