After an 18 point performance, last Saturday and a 21 point outing on Tuesday night, Dontre English is this week’s Highland Community College ‘Athlete of the Week.’
 
English, a 6’3 guard from Des Moines, IA, led his team to victory over On Point Hoops Academy on Saturday scoring 18 points and pulling down five rebounds. English went 9-11 from the free throw line lifting the Scotties to an 82-76 win.
 
On Tuesday night Dontre led the Scotties to a 99-58 win over York College JV, HCC’s 9th win of the season. English scored 21 points, leading all scorers on the night. English is averaging 13.7 points/game this season.
