Jaquan Daniels is selected as this week’s Scottie “Athlete of the Week” after a big offensive performance Monday night in the first home game of 2017.
 
Daniels helped lead his team to a 90-45 victory over Doane College JV on Monday night in Ben Allen Field House, Highland’s 12^th win of the year.
 
Daniels scored 22 points shooting 53% from the floor and 2-2 from behind the arc. That is Daniels 13^th game scoring in double figures this season. He is averaging 14.2ppg, which is second on the team behind Dontre English at 14.7. Daniels is also second on the team in rebounds averaging 4.8rpg.
 
Daniels and the Scotties enter conference play this weekend as they play host to conference rival Johnson County CC Saturday, January 14^th, at 3:00pm in Ben Allen Field House. Congratulations Jaquan!
