Ashtoni Sands, a Freshman from the Bahamas, earned Scottie Player of the Week after an outstanding performance at the Doane University track meet on Saturday, Feb. 4th.
Sands competed in the High Jump and jumped and impressive 5 foot 7 inches which would rank her #6 in the NJCAA. This feat also ties the HCC school record that was set in 1988.
Congratulations Ashtoni! We look forward to watching you compete the rest of the season.
