Jorge Guerrero, sophomore from Texas, has had an amazing start to the 2016 Cross Country Season! Last Friday, Guerrero competed at the Augustana University Twilight Night Run. He finished 30th out of 228 runners made up of all divisions. He ran a 20:02 4 mile!

Coach Clevenger had this to say about Jorge, “Jorge competed extremely well in a very competitive environment against several teams including Divison 1 teams! His performance this past week is probably ranks as one of the top 5 performances I’ve seen in my 7 years at Highland. He’s training and competing at such a high level right now, and I look forward to his progress as the season moves forward.”

Great job Jorge! Good luck the rest of the season!
