Zealia Kleitz has earned this week's Scottie Athlete of the Week for her performance in leading the Scottie Volleyball team to a 4-0 record to start off the 2017 season.

The 5'11 sophomore from Osawatomie, KS dominated in the middle blocker position in the Southeast Tournament. Kleitz totaled 50 kills hitting a .371 hitting percentage also posting 13 digs and seven total blocks. She led the team in the win of #15 Northeast with 16 kills on 23 attempts with only one error hitting a .609. Kleitz scored the final four points on her own against Southeast to come back from 21-23 to win the set and close out the match 25-23!
