Will Solomon, a sophomore kicker from Valdosta, GA, has been awarded Scottie Athlete of the Week.

Highland's starting kicker went 2-2 on field goals drilling them from 30-yards and 28-yards. He went 2-3 on extra points, missing only the PAT that was blocked by Dodge City last Thursday evening in the Scotties season opener. He also averaged 58.8-yards per kickoff.

The KJCCC awarded Solomon Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance.
