Katie Pearson has been selected for 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' after putting up big numbers in the Highland Volleyball Tournament.

Pearson, a 5'6 freshman setter from Kansas City, MO has taken the role as primary setter for the Scotties running a 5-1 rotation. She totaled 160 set assists on the weekend as well as 46 digs. She had an exceptional 61 assists in a five set victory over #18 MCC-Longview. Pearson is currently sitting in 3rd in the KJCCC for assists (288) and assists per set (9.29).
