Loren Young has been selected to receive 'Scottie Athlete of the Week after a double-overtime loss to Hutchinson Community College.

Young, a 6'2 255 pound defensive end from Atlanta, GA, had eight total tackles; two solo and six assisted in the 10-7 loss on Saturday. He blocked a field goal and also forced a fumble in the game. Young is currently tied for first in the KJCCC with 4.5 sacks. He has 20 total tackles on the year and 10.5 tackles for loss.

Highland will host the Butler Grizzlies on Saturday, October 7th at Kessinger Field with a 1:00PM kick-off.
