Leslie Polanco, freshman, from the Dominican Replublic, was a reliable source throughout the HCC Invitational this week as she was an all around force for the Scotties. Polanco, as an outside hitter, had a total of 32 kills along with more than 50 digs as she played all 6 rotations. She also showed aggressive serving as she added 12 service aces to stats. Coach Bingesser commented, "Leslie had a great weekend, it was her second tounament posting 50 plus digs. Her energy and style of play really helps light a fire on the court." Polanco will help lead the team this Wednesay to take on KCKCC and then again on Friday the 9th as they travel to Ottawa, KS to compete against their JV team.
