Koie Orozco has been awarded 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' for helping lead the HCC Volleyball team to a 5-1 finish this last week.
She recorded double digit digs in four of the last six games, with 15 against #5 Coffeyville at the Panther Invitational, her career best. Orozco has put down 25 kills this last week with an average hitting percentage of .204. She has put up a big block as well, assisting in 7 total blocks at the Panther Invite.
Orozco has worked to become a consistent, reliable force on the right side for the Scotties. She has a total thus far of 158 digs, 114 kills, and 45 total blocks.
