Carrie Fisher has been awarded 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' after having her best weekend showing of the season.

Fisher, a 5'8 outside hitter from Kansas City, MO had her best offensive game of her freshman season putting down 11 kills and picking up 4 digs, one block, and one assist in a loss against #16 Kirkwood CC. She totaled 19 total kills, nine digs and six blocks on the weekend. Fisher stepped in to the outside position mid-season producing 44 total kills, 10 aces, 39 digs, and eight total blocks on her season thus far.
