Katie Pearson has hit her 1,000th set assist mark making her this weeks 'Scottie Athlete of the Week!'

Pearson, a 5'6 setter from Kansas City, MO has surpassed an outstanding achievement as a freshman. She has recorded 1,094 set assists on the season averaging 9.35 per set. Both of these stats have her in 3rd in the KJCCC East. Pearson is solid in all other positions putting down 33 kills, contributing 23 aces, picking up 275 digs, and assisting on 29 blocks with 14 solo. With seven games left in the Scotties regular season play (24-10, 5-2), Pearson is on her way to continuing to build on her already high achievements.
