Emma Cohalla has been awarded 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' after helping lead her team to a 3-1 finish at the Iowa Central Invitational.
Cohalla, a 6' middle blocker from Kansas City, MO, has been a strong force for the Scotties. Over the weekend, she put down 21 kills, had 14 digs, contributed seven aces, and added ten blocks. She is currently at 103 total blocks in her freshman campaign; just one away from tieing for 2nd in the HCC All-Time Single Season blocks.
Cohalla is fourth in the KJCCC East for total blocks and second in solo blocks with 49.
