Blaize Burgess is this week's 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' after a career high 32 points and making a record-breaking 10 threes against Graceland University JV before Thanksgiving break. This feat earned her KJCCC Athlete of the Week Honors. She contributed 14 points, six assists, four steals, and one rebound in their other HCC Classic win over William Penn JV.

Burgess stayed consistent on the Scotties trip to Michigan, putting up 19 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and five steals throughout two games. She has went 18-36 from the behind the arc in four games helping her lead the conference in 3 pointers per game. Burgess is 7th in the conference in points per game (12.6) and 4th in 3 point percentage (45%).
