Congratulations to Kira Williams on being awarded 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' after another outstanding performance at the Johnson County Indoor Track Meet.

Williams added another event to her National qualifying list. She qualified in the 600m run with a time of 1:41.33 earning 1st place. Williams will also be participating in the long jump at Nationals.

The sophomore from Topeka, KS placed 2nd in the 60m hurdles with a 9.28 time and cleared 4'11.5 in the high jump placing 5th overall.

Williams will be competing at the KU Relays on Friday the 26th participating in the Pentathlon.
