Blaize Burgess has been named 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' after helping lead the Scotties in their last conference match-ups.

Burgess averaged 20 points per game in the last three contests. She had three 3's in the 85-43 win over Fort Scott. She went 7-9 from behind the arc with 25 points, five rebounds and four assists over the #11 Labette Cardinals and hit four three's ending with 24 points, career high eight rebounds, and four assists in the 86-66 victory over the #7 Johnson County Cavaliers.
