Scott Jordan enters his 17th season as Associate Head Coach for the Highland softball team.

Jordan in his tenure at Highland Community college has guided the Scottie softball program alongside his wife, Heidi Jordan (Head Coach) to great success including a 530-224 record (70.2% win percentage) and a 259-79 record in KJCCC play. The Scotties under the guidance of Scott & Heidi have made the NJCAA National tournament seven times; going five straight years from 2010-2014, along trips in 2016 and 2019. During his 15 years as Associate Coach Highland has also finished fourth or better in the KJCCC East Division every season including four KJCCC East titles (2012, 2015, 2016 & 2019). Scotties also have six District titles during and District runner-up five times during that time, while finishing Top six at the NJCAA DII 2019 National Tournament. 

Scott has coach 12 NJCAA All-Americans at Highland, 68 All-Conference selections and 74 All-Region selections. Scottie softball athletes also have found success in the classroom with 11 NJCAA All-Academic Team of the Year honors, while 18 athletes have earned NJCAA Distinguished Academic All-American (3.80 GPA or better) and 43 athletes earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors under the Coach Jordan.

During his 15 years at Highland the Scotties have posted 30+ wins 14 of 15 seasons with 40+ four years including a Highland single season best 49 wins in 2012. The Scotties also own the longest win streak in school history under Coach Jordan which is 25-straight wins.

Jordan has played men's fast pitch softball since he was 16 years old and his teams have competed and placed at the State and National levels. As a summer coach for 12 & under girls travel team he has had teams qualify for the ASA (12 B), USSSA (12 B & A, and 14 B), and AFA (12 B) for National tournaments.

He is a successful summer ball coach for a 12 & under girls travel team who have qualified ASA (12 B), USSSA (12 B & A, and 14 B), and AFA (12 B) for the national tournaments.
