HCC down by the ranked Indians

The second game of the HCC volleyball triangular in Ottuwma, Iowa was against ranked #10 Indian Hills CC at 2:00pm. The Scotties took a set off of the team but ended up losing 1-3 with set scores as follows: 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 13-25.
Shailey Caudle recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs. Tyrecia Lukes tied her career best in kills with 17 and 5 digs along with 6 total blocks. Zealia Klietz had a great game with 6 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 dig. Demi Bartonek controlled the backrow with new career high 17 digs while Leslie Polanco added in 14 digs of her own. Megan Rhule contributed 31 set assists, 2 kills, and 3 digs.
The HCC volleyball team will travel to Hesston, Kansas on Wednesday, October 19th to play the Larks at 6:30pm. The Scotties overall record is now 19-11 and 5-3 in conference.
