Box Score It was a clean sweep in Highland on Saturday night as the #12 Scotties (2-1, 1-1) took down the #2 Coffeyville Red Ravens (0-2, 0-2) in three straight sets: 25-23, 25-12, 25-23. The Scotties snagging their first win against the Red Ravens since 2018.
Highland controlled the first set with a multitude of runs, eventually building the lead to 22-15. A timeout for the Red Ravens would shift momentum as Coffeyville was able to close the gap with a 7-0 run, tying the set at 22 apiece. A dump from sophomore setter

Nicole Franco would close out set one at 25-23 for the Scotties.
The second set was all Scottie Nation as the team cruised to a 25-12 set win over the visiting Red Ravens.
The Scotties came out strong in the third set as freshman
Jenna Pfau brought down the hammer to earn the first point. Highland went on a 5-1 run before Coffeyville was forced to call a timeout. The set continued with both sides going on equal runs until the Scotties were able to extend the lead to 24-21, but the Red Ravens would not go down easy. Two more points were scored before Franco finished the set with a big swing off the Coffeyville block, completing the sweep for the Scotties.
The Scotties dominated in the stat book as well, with both Middle Hitters swinging at a .556%. Sophomore
Gabbie Bishop had five kills out of nine attempts with zero errors, while sophomore
Kendra McDonald finished the match with six kills on nine attempts. Franco went for 14 kills, hitting a .342% and fellow outside hitter Pfau finished with 13 kills, hitting a .476%. Sophomore setter,
Kellyn Lipasek dished out 35 assists in the sweep with sophomore libero, Briand Diaz picking up nine digs and a pair of aces.
