Andrea Borray Ortiz is entering her first season as Assistant Coach for the women’s soccer team at Highland.  She is originally from Bogotá, Colombia where she was selected for the pre-national Colombian Women’s soccer team U17 in 2012. 

After transferring from Laramie County Community College, Andrea earned her B.A. in Sports Management with minors in Business, Coaching, and Management from Ohio Valley University.  In 2017, she completed a summer internship as an assistant coach for the Gryphons FC women’s soccer team U-21 in Guelph, Canada. While earning her M.A. in Business Administration from Concordia University in Nebraska, she served as a graduate assistant coach for their Women’s Soccer program which won the 2020-2021 conference championship.
