Austin is an experienced player and coach with over 25 years of playing experience and over 4 years of coaching experience at various levels. His semi-professional playing experience at the PDL and PASL levels during high school earned him a DIII spot at Saint John's University (MN) before transferring to Colorado State University. At Colorado State University, Austin helped the club team make 2 separate runs at Nationals, both as a player then as a coach. Also during his time in Colorado, he played for Fort Collins United in the UPSL.
This will be Austin's first year coaching at Highland Community College and second year coaching at the collegiate level.
