Tara Sanchez joined the Highland Community College athletic training staff as an assistant athletic trainer since 2020.
A native of Newton, Mo., Sanchez earned her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Central Methodist University and earned her Masters of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Conditioning from A.T. Still University. She served as a Certified Athletic Trainer for All Saints Episcopal School from 2017-19 as part of a graduate assistantship with Baylor, Scott $ White Health in Tyler, Texas. Immediately prior to joining Highland, she was the Head Athletic Trainer for Cottey College from 2019-20.
