Sam Moran has been awarded 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' this week!

Moran not only helped the team to go 1-1 against Fort Scott, she has been a reliable force for the Scotties all season.

The 5'3 infielder from St. Joseph, MO went 2 for 6 with one being an RBI homerun, and the other being a double. Moran's defense stood out in the 9-0 win, helping bring the team to a 26-7 record.

Moran has played in 30 games, hitting a .387 average with four home runs, 18 RBI's, 43 runs scored, and 3 stolen bases.
