Heading into the ranked #18 Scottie volleyball team's last game of the season with a 23-13 record, they were looking to win with confidence and keep that motivation to head into districts. The Scotties did just that, as they took the match 3-1 against the now 7-25 Wentworth Academy. The set scores were 25-19, 25-8, 23-25, 25-15.
Tyrecia Lukes had another stand out game on the offense with 14 kills, with a .500 hitting percentage. Leslie Polanco was not far behind with 12 kills along with 13 digs, recording her 11th double-double of the season. Megan Rhule received her 12th double-double of her freshman season with 18 set assists and 12 digs. Shailey Caudle contributed 11 digs and 4 kills along with Zealia Klietz bringing 8 kills to the match.
The Scotties finished their season with a 24-13 record and are seated 5th going into Districts. They will play at Coffeyville Community College on Saturday, November 5th against number 4 Fort Scott. Time to be announced.
