The Lady Scottie basketball team traveled to Oskaloosa, Iowa on Monday evening to take on the Statesman at William Penn JV in their second meeting this season. The team had no trouble yet again as they won 81-49.
The leading scorers for the Scotties were Mariane Carvalho with 21 and Szonja Vukov with 14. The team as a whole pulled down 39 total rebounds, outrebounding William Penn by 10. Dey'Chelle Claiborne put up 9 points off the bench with sophomore Jameka Dowell scoring 6.
The next home game for the women's team is Thursday, November 10 at home against Missouri Valley JV at 6:00pm. They are now 4-0 on the year.
