Game one saw the both teams scoreless through the first three innings to start the day. The Red Devils got things going in the top of the fourth scoring three runs. Highland answered back quickly scoring six runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Adam Miner started it off hitting a two RBI single that scored
Mason Nagle and Josh Grubaugh. Tony Nichols followed that up with a single of his own scoring
Bradey Miller from third.
Keishon Brown doubled to left field and scored Miner and Nichols.
Wyatt Nowack hit a single that scored Brown and the Scotties re-gained the lead, 6-3 after the first four innings.

Allen battled back in the top of the 6
th scoring three runs and tying the game at 6-6.

Mitchell Austin hit a leadoff single to start the 6
th inning.
Mason Nagle scored Austin after hitting an RBI single giving Highland the 7-6 lead going into the final inning.

The Red Devils put together a three-run rally in the top of the 7
th to take back the lead 9-6.
Mitchell Austin hit an RBI single to bring the Scotties back within one-run in the bottom of the 7
th but Highland couldn't complete the come back and fell 9-8 in game one.

Highland found themselves with an early 4-2 lead after the first two innings in game two. That lead wouldn't hold as the Red Devils got their bats rolling in top of the third and scored eight runs to take a 10-4 lead.

Allen County would go on to score 18 unanswered in the final five innings to defeat the Scotties 18-4.

Mitchell Austin went 2-4 with an RBI while
Bradey Miller (1-2) and Josh Grubaugh (2-3) both had one RBI each.

Highland will take on non-conference opponent Rockhurst University on Tuesday in Kansas City, MO at 4:00pm.
