Jordan Henning was walked to lead-off followed by a single by
Tyler Watson.
Mason Nagle stepped up to the plate and shot a bomb over the right field fence on to the football field for a 3-run home run to give the Scotties a 3-0 lead. The bases were loaded with two outs, and

NCMC tried to inch their way back in to the game scoring runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, but the Scotties held their ground on their own field to take the victory 9-6 over the Pirates.
