The Highland Scotties Women's Basketball team picked up their second straight win last night after their victory over Southeast Community College (NE) 71-63 at the Ben Allen Field House.
Gerenda (G.G.) Smith (16 pts/12 reb) and

nd quarter but continued to stay focused. Head CoachÂ
Jordon O'Brien stating, "overall, we did a good job of holding our composure and just kept chipping away on the defensive end."
While the offense might have started slow, the Scotties found an injection of energy off the bench from freshman

"This was Summer's first game of the year. She came in off the bench and gave us a huge spark with her energy," added O'Brien.
The Scotties will travel to Beatrice, NE on Tuesday, February 23 for a rematch against Southeast. They return home to Ben Allen Field House on Saturday, February 27 to tip-off conference play against Fort Scott at 3 p.m. All of the live-action can be found on the Scottie Sports Network! Â
