The Highland Scotties Men's Basketball season came to an end this week with a loss on the road to the Labette Cardinals in the 2^nd round of the Region VI playoffs. Labette, with only three bench players, was able to hang on and win a closely contested match 69-68.

The Scotties had 4 players in double-digit scoring for the game. Jaylen Subject led the way for Highland with 13 points, shooting .500 percent from the floor. Marquise Milton, Zyon Smith, and Dillon Delatte each added 12 points for the Scotties in the loss.

Highland finishes the season with a record of 10-5. The team played nearly perfect in Ben Allen Field House this season with a record of 7-1, but the Scotties struggled on the road, closing out the season with a 3-4 away record.

Statistically, Zyon Smith dominated the majority of this season's offensive categories for the Scotties. Dillon Delatte led the team in total rebounds and rebounding average. Marquise Milton returned late in the season from injury and went on to finish second in scoring average behind Smith.
