On Monday, January 24
th Scottie Men's Basketball team took down Neosho Community College 85-52.
The Scotties came ready to play Monday night at the Ben Allen Field House. The Scotties went into halftime with a 48-21 lead over Neosho, while also shooting 39.3% from the arc. The Scotties kept pushing the Panthers and ended the game ahead of Neosho by 33 points.
The Scotties were led by Sophomore
Kevin McGaskey with 13 points shooting a perfect 3-3 from behind the arc. Three others reached double digits for the Scotties:
Allon Johnson added 12 points and 8 rebounds while both
Marquise Milton and
Dallas Rufus had 10 points for the Scotties.
The Neosho County CC Panthers were led by Zaakir Sawyer with 12 points and Jerry Carraway added 10 points for the visiting Panthers.
Highland advances to 10-7 on the season. The Scottie Men's Basketball team will return to play on Wednesday night hosting #2 Johnson County Community College at 7:30 PM. On Saturday, January 29
