The Highland Community College women's softball team released its 2024 schedule.

The newly promoted Scotties head coach, Jean Melo Fernandez, enters the 2024 season with eight new freshmen. After a 26-21 record last season, Coach Melo looks forward to leading a new roster of talented, young student-athletes.
 
He stated, "As a first-year college head softball coach, I am honored and excited to lead this incredible group of athletes into the upcoming season. Together, we are forging a strong foundation built on hard work, unity and a shared passion for the game. The whole team defeated many challenges this fall, and I am confident that our collective commitment to growth and success will propel us to new heights. This season marks the beginning of an exciting journey, and I look forward to witnessing the determination and resilience of our players as we navigate the competitive landscape of the season. Go Scotties!"
