Coach O'Connor comes to Highland after completing his playing career at Clarke University in Dubuque, IA. An all-conference selection as an outfielder for the Pride. O'Connor slashed .326/.436/.546 in his career while adding 13 HR in 120 games played at Clarke. His colligate playing career started at Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, IL. Coach O'Connor spent the summer of 2024 coaching Rhinos Baseball in the Metro Collegiate League. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Clarke University and is currently working towards his MBA. His primary responsibilities will be to oversee the development of the Scottie Hitters and coach the outfield, recruit and assisting in all other day to day operations of the program.
