Sweezy enters his 13th season as Assistant Baseball Coach for the Highland Scottie Baseball team.
Before his time coaching at Highland, Sweezy was the Topeka Stars Assistant Coach for 7 years, coached the 18U Topeka Golden Giants as Head Coach, the 16U Topeka Golden Giants Head Coach, and Post 74 JR Legion Assistant Coach.
He started out his own playing career at Highland CC from 2003-2005, went on to play at Newman University for a year, and lastly played for the Topeka Golden Giants the summer of 05.
Sweezy and his wife Lindsey live in St. Joseph, Missouri. Lindsey works as a nurse for Mosaid Life Care and they have a dog named Maisy.
