Gorman has started his second year as Volunteer Assistant Coach here at Highland Community College for the Scottie Baseball Team. During the 2015-16 season, he coach the American Legion Baseball team in Osawatomie, Kansas.
Gorman started out his playing career as a redshirt freshman at Neosho Community College, then transferred to Highland Community College to play for two years as a 1st baseman. He received his Associates in Criminial Justice while at Highland. He then finished out his last two years of playing baseball at William Jewell College. He earned his Bachelors in Sport & Recreation Management.
