Brian Greene enters his coaching career with the Highland Scotties for the 2023 season. Greene, a native of Yakima, Washington, played at Eisenhower High School and went on to play for Washington State University.

Greene started his career as a walk-on with the Cougars and wound up earning a scholarship in 2019. Greene earned four letter awards, was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch list, and named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team for 2021. Greene was also part of Washington State's winningest team in school history. Greene would go on to conclude his career playing for the Michigan State Spartans, earning his fifth letter award at the Power Five level.
