Elijah Washington is entering his first season as defensive line coach at Highland CC. Washington comes to Highland after spending one season as the special team coordinator and defensive line coach at Louisburg College. Before Louisburg College, Washington spent four years at McNeese State University as a defensive analyst. Washington began his career as an offensive GA at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he worked with Wide Receivers.
Washington is a native of Lake Charles, LA, and played at LaGrange High School. He graduated from Grambling State University in 2016 with a Bachelors in Computer Science.
