Jake Landoll is in his second season with Highland Community College, serving as the Defensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator for the Scotties. Landoll comes to Highland from Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he coached defensive line.
After non-coaching roles with the San Diego Bowl Game Association, the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Brigade (AFL), Coach Landoll embarked on his coaching career returning to his alma mater, the University of Saint Mary (Leavenworth, KS). At USM, he coached linebackers and had a pair of All-Conference players.
After coaching at USM, Landoll accepted an opportunity in Louisiana as the assistant defensive line coach at Northwestern State University (FCS). He then took a coaching position at Missouri Southern helping turn around their program. While at Missouri Southern, Landoll coached Player of the Year Brandon Williams who went on to be a NFL draft pick.

During his tenure at NSU-LA he coached several All-Conference players and helped the FCS program upset several top programs including Sam Houston State, Central Arkansas and Stephen F. Austin along with FBS opponent Louisiana Tech.
He took a leave of absence from coaching to become the National Business Development manager for a company in Kansas City but then after two years, returned to coaching at his most recent stop in Mississippi. At Northeast Mississippi CC. Landoll coached multiple players to All-Mississippi Junior College team honors and NCAA Division I opportunities.
As a Kansas kid that played at USM in Leavenworth where he was a three-year starter and earned first team All-Conference at nose guard, along with All-Region and All-American honors Coach Landoll hopes to leave an impact on the program and community.
