Jered Ross enters his first season at Highland Community College as an assistant coach with the Women's basketball program.
Ross who attended Highland for the 2013-14 school year returns after finishing school at Missouri Western State University and picking up some coaching experience the past few years.
In his lone year at Highland Ross worked with the Highland women's basketball program serving as a practice player competing against the NJCAA National runner up team. While at Missouri Western Ross worked as a student assistant for one-year from 2015-16.
After college and prior to join the Scottie coaching staff Ross spent three years with Central high school girls program (Class 5 Saint Joseph, MO).
Ross was a four-year letterman in basketball in high school and was a multi-sport athlete.
The Atchison, Kansas native earned his Bachelor degree in Exercise Science from Missouri Western State University.
