Coach Lydia Harvey, a Fort Dodge, IA native, is entering her second year of coaching at Highland.
Harvey played basketball for two years at Iowa Central Community College before transferring to High Point University to continue her collegiate career. At ICCC, Harvey averaged 17.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game and ranked ninth in the NJCAA with 77 made three-pointers. Coach Harvey finished her basketball career at Valdosta State University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Management and Psychology.
Harvey earned her Master’s degree in Public Administration while working as the Athletics Operations Graduate Assistant for Valdosta State University prior to coming to Highland Community College.
