Khaliah Hines earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” honors after helping the #2 Highland women’s basketball team remain unbeaten on the season earning two wins last week. The Scottie picked up victories over Bethany JV 81-29 and Southwestern 86-74 to improve to 11-0 on the season.

Hines has been a steady off the bench this season for the Scotties and has one start on the year. The freshman tallied nine points on 4-8 shooting in the win over Bethany JV and added five rebounds, three assists and one steal. Against Southwestern Hines posted six points on 3-6 shooting with two rebounds, two steals and two blocks.

On the season Hines is averaging 5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 11 contests.
