Mikale Hart earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” honors after posting a National qualify time in the 200 meter dash at the Northwest open in Indoor track.

Behind a time of 21.98 Hart became the latest Highland track athlete to qualify for Nationals posting the mark in the 200 meter dash at the Northwest Open earning second place in the event on the day. He added a seventh place finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.05 and was part of the 4x400 meter relay team that took sixth place with a time of 3:22.46, only one second off National qualifying time.

Hart in his first meet as a Scottie one the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.29 at the Ward Haylett Invite and also took second place in the 60 meter dash behind a time of 6.95.
