Jaquan Daniels earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” honors after helping the Scotties go 2-1 last week in a packed week of KJCCC action moving to 21-2 on the season and 3-1 in KJCCC play.

Daniels posted double figures in all three games and filled his stat line out nicely impacting the game in several ways. Scotties started the week off with a tough road loss 75-67 at Johnson County but Daniels in the contest tallied 14 points on 6-10 shooting adding six rebounds and a pair of steals. Highland bounced back with a 83-66 win at home over Hesston where Daniels posted 16 points on 6-11 from the field, while adding five rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks to round out his stat line. Daniels and the Scotties wrapped up the week with a road win 69-61 over KCK on Saturday and Daniels notched 12 points adding six assists, three rebounds and five steals.

On the season Daniels is averaging 10.8 points per game while shooting 51% from the floor and 35.1% from three-point range. He is adding 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2 steals per game.
