Shareez Hamm earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” honors after posting National qualify mark in the 60 meter hurdles.

Hamm had been working all Indoor season to notching a National qualify mark in the 60 meter hurdle event and he did it at home in the Scottie Classic with a translated time from his 55 meter hurdle race. Hamm with a time of 7.81 in the 55 meter hurdles took second in the event at the Scottie Classic and that time is translated to a time of 8.41 in the 60 meter hurdles which earns him a spot at the NJCAA Indoor Nationals.

The sophomore also was a part of the 4x400 meter relay team that qualified for Nationals earlier in the Indoor track season posting a time of 3:23.49 as he partnered up with Mikale Hart, Daunte Walker and Mytavious Carrigan in the event.
