Jacob Selock earns "Scottie Athlete of the Week" honors after helping Highland baseball take two of three games against North Arkansas.

Freshman, Jacob Selock was an anchor at third base all weekend for the Scotties and reached base safely 10 times on the weekend going 5-6 with six RBI, a double, home run, two walks and three hit by pitches. He opened the series against North Arkansas with a 2-2 performance scoring three runs and driving in one run and then went 2-2 with two runs scored with two RBI and a double in game two. Game three saw Selock blast his first college home run as it was a three-run shot in the Scotties win in the rubber match of the three-game set against North Arkansas.

On the season Selock in six games is batting .412 with a .500 on base percentage and .647 slugging percentage. The freshman has seven hits, seven runs scored, a double, home run and seven RBI.
