Proleine Pierre has been awarded 'Scottie Athlete of the Week' for her outstanding performance in the first Track & Field meet for HCC.

A freshman from the Bahamas, Pierre established herself in the NJCAA in the 60 and 200 meters at the Kansas Bob Timmons Challenge, held at the University of Kansas. She won her section of the 60 meters in 7.98, finishing 14th overall, as well as 10th in the 200 finishing with a time of 26.42.

With her performance in her first collegiate meet, Pierre was awarded NJCAA ITF National Athlete of the Week amongst other great performers. http://www.ustfccca.org/2016/12/featured/ncaa-njcaa-itf-national-athletes-of-the-week-december-6
