#18 Stachys McLoud, a 6'1 Sophomore from Overland Park, Kansas,  is your Scottie Athlete of the Week!
McLoud was the standout pitcher for the Scotties as the relief pitcher in both victories over #17 Greyhounds of Fort Scott on Sunday afternoon.
McLoud came in game one to a tied ballgame, 5-5, in the bottom of the sixth and would hold the Greyhounds scoreless into extra innings and the Scotties would eventually take the victory on a walk off in the bottom of the eight. In game two McLoud came in to close the game with the lead of 8-6. He forced two quick outs and found himself with two runners on base and the tying run up to bat. McLoud struck him out to sweep the Greyhounds on the weekend!
Scottie Baseball is now 12-17 on the year.
