After holding Pure Prep scoreless for the first 11 minutes of the ball game, Highland kept the gas pedal down on their way to a 74-34 win over Pure Prep Academy and their 6
th win of the year.

Forcing turnovers and scoring fast break points really opened up the lead for Highland heading into the halftime.

After taking a 27-point lead in at halftime, the Scotties came out firing in the second half shooting 46% from the field and 60% from the free throw line. With multiple dunks from
D'Juan Scudder, Highland had enough momentum to carry this one through to the end.

Freshman guard
Stephon Jackson led the Scotties in scoring with 15 points going 6-11 form the floor and three assists. Troy, KS sophomore
Collin Jasper went 3-8 behind the arc and added in 11 points on the evening.
Dontre English and
Jaquan Daniels both knocked in 10 points.
D'Juan Scudder had a big night scoring 9 points and pulling down a team leading 11 boards.

The Scotties out rebounded the Lions 45 to 23 and dished out 16 assists on the night. Coach Cole had a lot of talent coming off the bench tonight throughout the night as over half of Highland's points came from its bench players.
